WE'RE GLAD TO TELL YOU SUNDAY
 
       You are invited to join us on Sunday, August 5th. as we take a stroll down memory lane.  We will  recap what God's mighty hand has done here at Heartland First Baptist Church. 
 
  • Hear  members give testimony to what God has done in them during the past 18 months.
  • Rev. Barry Calhoun of the S.B.T.C. will bring the morning message.  (expect a powerful message)
  • Lauren Ainsworth will bless us with special music.  (Lauren is a Sophomore at O.B.U. in Arkadelphia Arkansas and the Pastor's Grand daughter)  
 
We anticipate a packed house, sweet fellowship and God's presence.  With your presence, the day will be  complete.

Welcome To Heartland First Baptist Church Blog
     Located just east of Dallas is a new community known as Heartland, Texas. The developer has built the first phase infrastructure, a park, walking trails, a large fishing pond and about 250 homes have already been built and many of them are occupied. This is an extremely exciting project but another community is going up right along with this one. It is called Heartland First Baptist Church. God has laid the foundation and Heartland's spiritual community is carefully building on that foundation. We are located on the western edge of Heartland, Texas on FM 2757 about half way between 740 and 741. Currently we are meeting in a temporary facility but plans are under way to build a 12,000 sq. ft. multi-purpose facility that will accommodate us until we are able to build a permanent worship center.

At Heartland First Baptist Church God is doing some miraculous things. If you live in or around Dallas or Kaufman Counties, you owe it to yourselves to visit and experience first hand the exciting things happening here, you'll be glad you did.

Anniversary Service
Dr. Troy Brooks will be the guest speaker at Heartland's Anniversary Service.

Dr. Brooks is Minister/Church Relations Director of the Southern Baptists of Texas  Convention.

Dr. Brooks, a longtime Texas pastor, served at First Baptist Church of Groesbeck before joining the SBTC staff.

Dr. Brooks earned his bachelor’s degree at Dallas Baptist University, a master of divinity at Southwestern Seminary and a doctor of ministry from Louisiana Baptist Theological Seminary.

Board chairman Joe Stewart said he traveled to Jacksonville, Texas with Brooks and called him a "man of God".

Come and hear Dr. Brooks and stay for lunch. It will be a great day in the Lord.

HIS Call at Heartland
Will be at Heartland First Baptist Church on January 28th.
They will be performing during our Anniversary service.
The service starts at 9:15 so come early for a front row seat.

Anniversary Service
January 28th Heartland will be celebrating one full year in our current place.  Even though we are a new church you will find a place for children, teens, and adults of all ages.  Be assured that none of your family will be left without an opportunity to find God's will in your lives.
